iPod is an intelligent gadget but it does not comes with a radio function. Users need to buy a iPod Radio Remote in order to have radio functions on their iPod. For so many years, Apple has decided not to include the radio function and if you need one, you need to spend another S$80 on top of your iPod.
About the FM Radio

This will syn the photos on your computer to the iPod.It will normally syn photo from the My Pictures folder for Window user and you can choose other folders also. I have created sub folders in My Pictures as I wanted to syn certain photos only.

• Visit the Tudou videos that u like to download
• Wait for the video to start playing
• Right click anywhere on the webpage
• Choose Download FLV video content with IDM

The videos will be download to your computer. The video is in flv format. You can get a free flv player on the internet. But you need a flv convertor to convert it to iPod video format and I use Replay Convertor. I am attaching a converted video from Tudou.com to play on my Ipod Nano.

Many Ipod users are confused about how to switch off and reseting their iPod. Switching the iPod off will help to preserved your battery and lengthen the life of your iPod player.

How to switch off the iPod?
Hold the Play/Pause button for a few seconds on the bottom of the click wheel for a few seconds.

How to reset the iPod?
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.
2. Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn’t set to go to sleep.

If you are still unable to reset your iPod, use only one finger from one hand to press the Center (Select) button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Menu button.

When you reset iPod all your music and files are saved, but some customized settings may be lost. Date and time is preserved (unless the iPod reset itself because it had no power and then was reconnected to power). Other customized settings, such as Bookmarks, On-The-Go Playlists, Shuffle, Backlight timer, and so forth are preserved from the last time the hard drive turned on.

I have bought my first Ipod Nano 8GB for S$280 on the internet. It is really a cool and sleek device. The first time it will take about 3 hours of charging by using the USB cable. The iTunes will detect the player and prompt you to register your Ipod Nano through the iTunes software. In the iTunes software on the left hand side, you will see the Devices and your iPod name under it. Clicking on it you will be able to view the summary of your iPod. You can synchronize all your Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Photos, Contact, Games from here. In the Summary page, you will see the iPod name, the capacity of the storage, software version of the iPod and the serial number. You can verify that the serial number display on the iTunes is similar to the one display on the box. If it is different, please return to the reatiler as the package may have been tamper with.
