Somerset 313 Smoke Curtains

I was having tea with my friend at the Coffee Bean at 1130AM and discussing about investment when suddenly the Fire Alarm was activated. It rang for a while and later went off. But the SMOKE CURTAINS come down and crush onto the furniture at Coffee Bean. Staffs remove the chairs and tables and allow the smoke curtain to touch the ground.

Smoke Curtains coming down at Coffee Bean.

This is the cooliest fire prevention technology I have seen at Somerset 313, even the elevator can be covered up. No access from B2 to B3 as escalator seal up. Is this protection or preventing customers from escaping on B1 and B2.

The best part is there is no public announcement that the Fire Alarm was a false alarm. Customers and staff was confused on this smoke curtain. So business just continue with the smoke curtains down.

As lunch time approaches, security and technician was still not able to lift up the smoke curtains. They use a manual chain to rise it up but it got stuck and they have to release it back again. They are back on the phone asking for help.

Smoke Curtain damage part of the tenants furniture. Staffs just take easy and chat on the table as no customers will be coming.

Smoke Curtains cover the B1 and B2 floors so that no smoke can penetrate the level.

I left the place at 130PM to meet my vendors and the smoke curtain was still not raise up yet.

PC Show 2011 HTC Booth

I love visiting the PC Show and there were huge wave of crowds at the Suntec City Convention Hall. PC Show has always amazed Singaporeans and all are ready to burst their wallets. Males and Females will enjoy the Great Singapore Sale here.

HTC has got a booth at this PC Show 2011 and it is located at Level 6, Hall 601, Booth Number B2002

There were too many people at the HTC Booth that you have to squeeze and wait patiently for your turn to try on the latest HTC Sensation and many other models that are available.

HTC Pretty Babes
There are also pretty HTC Babes at the PC Show and many were waiting for their turn to take a shoot using the HTC Flyer. You may also use your camera and pose a shot with them. I missed the chance as there are to many peoples.

HTC Accessories
If you are here to buy the extra battery, charger, covers, screen protectors then you wil be disappointed. The booth is only focus on their products and not the accessories.

Worth the BUY $$$?
This is not the best place to buy your phone, I guarantee hand phone shops in Chong Pang, Boon Lay, Woodlands are selling phone at a much lower price than the set retail price here in PC Show or the Nex HTC Store. Test the phone here and head to your neighbourhood store for the best price.
