The latest lift incident occured in Jurong West on 2 July 2017 and the passengers escaped with no major injuries.

The safety and integrity of the lift was the highest standard till the mandatory lift inspection was removed by the authority. Town Council will continue to engage the qualify and competent lift maintenance company to perform the routine maintenance.
