R4 Card Price Increase
The popular R4 card used on NDS lite for playing download NDS games has increase in price by 30%. The authorities are raiding game shop which carry this favourite brand. The R4 card has help to fuel the piracy of NDS games as download games are available at many popular websites on the internet. Many game shop sellers has also remove their advertisement from Yahoo and Ebay auctions and other classified websites. But people are still snapping the R4 card as it is still more cost efficient than buying a game. NDS game are still costing around SGD$40-65 per game which are consider quite expensive for the average gamers.
PSP Slim Price Update
The PSP Slim is currently retailing at S$280. It is a basic pack and consist of the console and charger only.
There is no modiifed set available as the authority is hot on piracy.

Baby Bonus Scheme
The Baby Bonus Scheme, first introduced in April 2001 and enhanced in August 2004, supports parents’ decision to have more children by helping to lighten the financial costs of raising children. The Scheme now benefits the 1st and 4th child born on or after 1 August 2004. You will get a cash gift of $3,000 each for your 1st and 2nd child and $6,000 each for your 3rd and 4th child. Your 2nd to 4th children will also enjoy government contributions in the form of a dollar-for-dollar matching for the amount of savings you contribute to your child’s Children Development Account (CDA). This is a special savings account that you open at any POSB branch for your child who is eligible for CDA. You can save in the CDA any time until the day before the child’s 6th birthday. The savings will be matched up to the cap of $6,000 for the 2nd child and $12,000 each for the 3rd and 4th child. The Government will match your savings in the following month. You will be eligible for the scheme if he or she is: a. born on or after 1 August 20041; b. a Singapore Citizen or becomes a Singapore Citizen; c. the first to the fourth child born alive to the mother2; and d. the mother is lawfully married to the child's father. Java Extractor
The EQ java Extractor will help you to extract java files out from your mobile phone so that you can upload to your PC. It can extract any java applications or java games on your mobile phone. You must ensure the java applications or games are install on your memory card. It will not work if the applications or games are installed on the phone.
In this case, I am testing it out on a Sony Ericsson Phone.
1.Install java program "EQ Java Extractor"on phone
2.Please move the games you want to extract to memory card
3.Start for "EQ Java Extractor".
4.Select the java games or apps press SELECT.
5."EQ Java Extractor" is closed.
6. The file with game or apps will move to a folder Other.
Please use your SE File Manager and click on Other. You will see the games or apps you have extracted to be inside the folder. It should work with other java enable phone but I am not sure where the files will be extracted to.
