Survey findings on underemployment show S’pore’s ‘graduate poor’ earn less than $2,000 a month

Employees become a commodity as we battle out to secure the job for a lesser attractive rate. Employers will be the winner until there is a high demand for the revelant skills.

Three Steps and One Pray

Vesak Day traditional three steps one pray and the Chinese called it 三步一拜. It is a 2 hour event held at temples across Singapore.

The buddhists are lining up the street to get ready for the three steps one pray. I will not be able to provide you the picture as I am in the event also.

This is to cleanse our bad deeds that we may have committed over the past year. It is a testament of our endurance as we walk three steps and then kneel on the floor with the head down.

You may visit any big temples in Singapore to watch this procession carry out by the Buddhist followers. It is usually carry out in the late evening or at night.
