Catacombs Walkthrough

Go to the Cartographer in the Bazaar and get your Tattered Mousoleum Map restored for $160,000. This will take 5 days.

After 5 days collect your restored map from the Cartographer and head to the Catacombs if you are Legendary.

Cheese:
1) Radioactive Blue Cheese
Collect
as many RB potions as you can in the Lab. You will need a continuous
supply of Radioactive Blue cheese in the Catacombs.
When RB cheese goes stale it becomes Radioactive Sludge. This is automatically put into your crafting inventory.

2) Ancient Cheese
Crafting recipe: (6) Ionized Salt + (3) Stale Cheese = (3) Ancient Cheese
Crafting recipe: (3) Magic Essence + (6) Ionized Salt + (3) Stale Cheese = (6) Ancient Cheese
Stale
cheese is obtained when Brie, Swiss, Marble, Cheddar or White Cheddar
goes stale on your trap. It is automatically put into your crafting
inventory.
Ancient cheese has a better attraction rate than RB.

Arcane Traps:
1) Obelisk of Slumber (OoS)
Buy
the Obelisk of Slumber trap in the Catacombs General Store for
$316,350. Alternatively use the Bottomless Grave or Sinister/Ambrosial
traps until you can afford the Obelisk of Slumber. These shadow traps
are not advisable for the long term in the Catacombs.

2) Obelisk of Incineration (OoI)
Crafting recipe: (1) Obelisk of Incineration Blueprints + (1) Obelisk Parts + (1) Coal+ (2) Scrap Metal + (3) Splintered Wood

Obtain
the Obelisk of Slumber parts by using the Hunters Hammer on the Obelisk
of Slumber trap. (Do not smash your OoS until you have 1 piece of coal
and 2 scrap metal. This may take some time.)
Coal is dropped by Keeper and Scavenger mice.
Scrap Metal is dropped by Scavenger mice.
Splintered Wood can be bought from the Training Grounds General Store.

3) Arcane Capturing Rod Of Never Yielding Mystery (ACRONYM)
Crafting recipe: (12) Scrap Metal + (1) Onyx Stone + (3) Magic Essence + (1) Obelisk Parts + (1) Mysterious Blueprints

Journeyman on MouseHunt

It is time for you to travel to the Mountain to do Hunting. But before you travel you must buy as much Swiss Cheese as you can afford. Please leave 1000 Gold for traveling to the Mountain. It will cost you 981 Gold to Travel from Town of Gnawnia to Mountain via Meadow.

In the Mountain, your main task is to catch the Ninja Mouse with the Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece. You need this Map Piece in order to gain access to the Laboratory . If unsuccessful and you reach the rank of Master then use Brie as the bait. I have used Swiss Cheese with Swiss Army Knife and Explosive Base to catch the Ninja Mouse with the Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece. Please take note not all Ninja Mouse got the Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece.

Keep hunting you reach the Master Rank and you will be able to visit the Laboratory with the Map Piece you got at the Mountain. If you want to you go after the Torn Pages of Plankruns Journal in the Meadow dropped by a Dwarf use white cheddar. You can craft White Cheddar using 1 Curds & Whey + 1 Salt ingredients which can be bought in the General Store in the harbour.

MouseHunt on Facebook Tips 1

You have regions as levels with areas as sublevels. The levels or regions are named Gwania, Burroughs, and Furoma. Sublevels for Gwania are Meadows and Town for Novice; Harbour for Apprentice; Mountains for Journeyman. Sublevels for Burroughs are Laboratory, Mousoleum, Town of Digby, Bazaar.
Sublevels for Furoma Region is Training Grounds, Dojo, Meditation Room, and Pinnacle Chamber.

Click here on tips for Novice Rank MouseHunt>>>

Click here on tips for Journeyman Rank MouseHunt>>>

When you reach Master, you can then go to the next level up which is Burroughs, Laboratory. BUT ONLY after you have obtained The Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece. You must catch a Ninja Mouse from the Mountain in order to obtain The Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece. Take note that not all Ninja Mouse has the Map. Therefore try to obtain the Map before you move to the rank of Master.

Upon
reaching the rank of Master, the player is eligible to hunt in the
Laboratory, Town of Digby, and Mousoleum locations of the Burroughs
area, assuming they have collected the proper loot.
It is also the
first ranking at which Radioactive Blue Cheese Curd Potions can be
collected and used. The Master also acquires another increase in
crafting abilities. The rank of Master is signified by a purple shield
next to the player's name.

From what I gather The Burroughs area is far away from town where the
shops is and there are certain items you need to stock up on like Super/Brie+, Swiss and Marble. You need a certain trap and base when you go to the upper
levels for better chances of hunting. You will at least need a Swiss Army Mouse Trap with Stone Base or other better traps which may be more expensive for you at this point of time.

In the Laboratory, you need to find the Key to the Town of Digby by successfully catching a Dwarf Mouse in the Laboratory. Not every Dwarf Mouse in the Laboratory carries a Key. After obtaining the Key, you may visit the Town of Digby.

Then
while in the laboratory the only way you can also move to the Mousoleum by getting the Tattered Mousoleum Map Piece. The Tattered
Mousoleum Map can only be obtained by successfully catching a Zombie
Mouse in the Laboratory.
You also need to collect as many Radioactive Blue Cheese Curd Potion in the laboratory as you can. You will need it to create Radioactive Blue Cheese for use in the Mousoleum. 1 Radioactive Blue Cheese Curd Potion can convert 10 Brie to 10 Radioactive Blue Cheese and cost you 300 Gold per piece. The best is to use the Radioactive Blue Cheese Curd Potion to convert 10 Super Brie to 10 Radioactive Blue Cheese and cost no Gold. The best is to have 300 Radioactive Blue Cheese for hunting in Mousoleum.
