Lumix GF2 is one of the camera that I will be getting at the IT Show 2011. Although I am a Panasonic Staff but I do not get to enjoy any discount on this Panasonic Lumix Camera. I am treated like any other consumers and will pay the same price like them.
Panasonic should give its staff special discounts to purchase the company products. Philips give all its staff vouchers to purchase their company products at special discount.
Sales staff used to be surprised that Panasonic Staff do not get discount off their company products. Now I do not tell them I am a Panasonic Staff to avoid embarrassment for myself and the company.
Nexus One firmware is still at Version 2.2.2 and looks like it will still take some time before we get the Gingerbread version. Google is still not making the Version 2.3 firmware available to Nexus One. Only the latest Nexus S is getting the Version 2.3 firmware.
Apple do things differently, they will ensure all iPhones(old & new) get the necessary updates. Google need to ensure that the Nexus S and old Nexus One both get the updates to the latest android software.
Nexus One users will have to use their Version 2.2.2 till an update is available for them.
